My annual Mother's Day card. Was originally planning on making the entire flower out of glass of various colors, until I realized that the render time might be measured in weeks instead of hours (there's a light source in the center of the petals, too) and that it might set the computer on fire, so I opted for the fancy metal texture instead.
The "Asian" font in the background is one of my very favorites, one of three "fake" fonts I have, that's in regular English but looks like a foreign language (the other two are fake Hebrew and fake Arabic). |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
